Apricot couscous

1- Near East roasted garlic,olive oil couscous
1- Apricot ( I use hard tart one)
1/4- orange pepper
2 stick(?) - celery
Cilantro -much as you like
Raw almond- hand full
Golden raisin -hand full
Sea salt,black pepper, olive oil


Cook couscous in saucepan (follow the package detection)
In different saucepan,sautéed orange pepper and celery with slow heat,so get softer and sweeter(pepper!) with olive oil.
Add apricot,almond and raisin in the end. Seasoned with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and mix to couscous with cilantro.
Finish!!!

Tiny stars in my Monday afternoon

We ate stars this afternoon:) it was fun & very refreshing!!

This was a small serving, just as side dish.

Half cup - Star pasta, well just use small pasta which often use for soup.
1/4 diced preserve lemon
1tea spoon- juice from preserve lemon
Much as you like- chopped parsley
1/2 tea spoon- balsamic vinegar
1big spoon-olive oil
1pinch - paprika
Sea salt, black pepper

Boiled pasta and mix all the ingredient in the bowl & done!!

Valentine dinner at house

Valentine dinner menu
Plum sake roasted Bronzini with yellow tomato
Chest nuts gnocchi & mushrooms with pumpkin seeds oil
Camembert cheese fry with blue berry sauce
Steam onion with red miso & green tea salt...etc....

Recipe for Bronzini
1- whole Bronzini (I usually ask fish store to clean for me!)
4- medium size yellow tomato
1cup- plum sake( you can use sweet white wine instead)
Sage, thyme,

Prepare Bronzini - marinate with sea salt, pepper and olive oil & place sage,thyme and sliced lemon between fish. I cut surface of fish like making lines,so the flavor go all the way inside. Leave for an hour

Place Bronzini in casserole dish.(no cover- put extra sage and thyme on top and bottom) and pour plum sake over.
Roast 15 min for 350F. Flip over and put yellow tomato, roast another 15min

Finish!
Make sure you eat Bronzini with yellow tomato~.

Sunday lunch

Yellow pepper & broccoli rabe sautéed with olive oil and plum sake.
Finish with cashew nuts! You can use some sweet white wine instead of plum sake~

BEETS RICE RECIPE
 
1 cup Japanese white rice
4 small beets - small diced
1 hand full okura - sliced
2 hand full baby spinach
Pine nuts much as you like
1 & 1/4 cup broth
( i use shitake mushroom broth from Japanese market, but you can do chicken or simple vegetable broth)

Cook rice, beets in broth(i use rice cooker:)
If you don't have rice cooker, here is the link !
just replace water to broth

Right before rice finish, sauteed okura and spinach with very little olive oil.  Add salt & pepper

Mix beets rice, sauteed okura, spinach & pine nuts in the bowl.
Done!!
